nc_july.jpgThe North Coast enjoys a mild and pleasant winter, with the temperatures on the coast rarely dropping to that toe freezing point, so often a problem in more southern areas at this time of year. The beaches remain as spectacular as ever, the hinterland as fascinating. In the inland areas you will easily find as traditional a winter as you would in the northern hemisphere, sometimes complete with fresh snowfall.

There are whales off the starboard bow, as the humpbacks and southern right whales begin their long migration to the warmer waters to the north of Australia. You can either take a guided whale watching cruise or enjoy some land based opportunities to see these magnificent creatures. Sawtell is set to host the 10th annual Chilli Festival, which will see the whole town warmed up with a startling range of Chilli products, foodstuffs and activities.

The ‘Short Sharp Film Festival’ will be held in Coffs Harbour and ‘Arsenic and Old Lace’ is to be performed at the Jetty Memorial Theatre.

So get out and about on the North Coast and we hope you have the time of your life in Australia’s Holiday wonderland.
